Fry Care

The eggs will hatch after 4 days incubation and the fry will start swimming within the next two days.
At this time, you should feed them infusoria and microworms. Four days later, start implementing some freshly hatched brine shrimp to the fry tank. At this stage, you can stop feeding infusoria.
Ten days later, you should start performing partial water changes and introduce some powdered food to the little Danios’ diet. When the fry are growing, perform more regular water changes as the fish will produce more wastes.

Culling

Any deformed fry should be culled.

Growout

If you got a large batch of fry, the fry will quickly become crowded in the breeding tank. You should move the fish to a larger tank with a more powerful filter to prevent stunting and to have a better water quality.
